JOHANSON - May 18, 1969, Frans Oskar JOHANSON, of 2922 E. Pender St., in his 69th year, birthplace Finland. Survived by wife, Betty; one son, Robert; and one brother, Arvid JOHNSON of Vancouver. A member of Order of Runeberg; funeral Saturday, May 24, Little Chapel of the Flowers, Forest Lawn, Royal Oak Avenue at Canada Way. Rev. LUETKEHOELTER officiating, interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

ULFVES Obituary, No Source

ULFVES - Carl Axel ULFVES of 17 Oberlin Street, died in Hahnemann Hospital (April 11, 1971?). He was born in Finland, son of Alfred and Adeline (GULLMES) ULFVES, and came to the U.S. many years ago. He was a toolmaker at Progressive Mfg. Co., Shrewsbury. He leaves his widow Mrs. Ingred (BERG) ULFVES, a daughter Miss Dorothy M. ULFVES of Worcester, and a brother Karl ULFVES of Finland. Funeral services in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Rev. David MILLER will officiate; burial in North Cemetery, Lunenburg.

MARTENS, Jr. - John C. MARTENS, Jr., 53, of 3008 La Jolla Place, died Sunday (February 6, 1977?) in his home, graveside services in South Park Cemetery, officiating Rev. Bervin O. CASWELL, pastor of the First United Methodist Church. Mr. MARTENS, a native of Roswell, had recently moved back to Roswell following the death of his parents. Burial will be at South Park Cemetery under the direction of Ballard Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be W.C. ADAMS, Virgil GRANTHAM, Urban HARRIS, M.C. MOORE, Tom SMITH, and Glenn STIFF.
